Project #1:
Namely Me​
Art project is inspired by Henry Matisse. Students created their name (first or last) using shapes and colors that represent them!
Project #2
Pointillism Landscape
Students are inspired by Seurat and the art style Pointillism.
Project #3
Totem Animal Drawings
Students used colored pencils and black paper to draw realistic animals that represent characteristics about them. This project relates to what students are learning in English. Students are reading "Spirit Bear" and are learning about Native American culture.
Project #4
Monochromatic Self-Portraits
Students learned about different cholor schemes and then painted a self-portrait using a monochromatic color scheme.
Project #5
Oil Pastels
Students learned about the characteristics of oil pastels and created two collaborative artworks for the art room and the library.
