HIGH SCHOOL ART.

Project #1:

Illuminated Manuscripts

Students learned about illuminated manuscripts and created thier own version using a letter from thier name and images that represent something about themselves.

Project #2:

Distorted Color Scheme Faces

Students learned about color theory and created their own versions of the color wheel. They then used a photo editing program to distort their chosen person's face. They used a grid to transfer the picture and painted their piece using a color scheme.

Project #3:

Arcimboldo Inspired Silhouette

Students learned about the artwork of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. They then created their own Arcimboldo inspired work using oil pastels and colored pencils.
